Automatically Convert Youtube Video to MP3 then send it to smart phone.

I would like to show you how you can take your current youtube video and convert it to a mp3 then take that mp3 and sync it to your dropbox account.

Then with DropSync on your android smartphone it takes the Dropbox music and copys it to your music folder.

All of this happens with just one click of a bookmark in your browser.

Things you will need
Firefox + Imacros Plugin
Dropbox software on computer and smartphone.
Drop Sync syncs music folders from dropbox to android music.
Dropit syncs from downloads and copys it to Dropbox. (Search google play store)

Install all of the mentioned software for this to work properly.

Drag Following link to bookmark area in the browser

Now when your on a youtube video you can click that bookmark and it will launch a converting website and paste the current url in and convert it then download it and close the other website automatically. Ill post the source of the macro as well if your interested in tweaking it.

You will get warning from Imacros that it is fixing to execute macro and you can view source if you want.

Okay so we need take a look at dropit right click that little box that appeared when you installed dropit
and go to options and set them like this.

We need to make a rule for mp3 so drag an mp3 from your downloads folder to the little dropit icon make a ruleset look similar to this but with your own users\username\downloads

You can see I took the mp3 and I am moving it to my destination folder in my dropbox. Now you can go back to options and click on enable monitor folder. And choose your downloads folder, which will automatically look for any changes. Its important that you set all your options properly otherwise it will try to scan all your files and set associations.

Then on your phone hopefully you install dropsync as well as dropbox just set it up to take the dropbox music and download it to your android music folder.
